Are protocols for transfection in cell culture dishes other than 96-well plate available?
The protocol is exactly the same for other formats than the 96-well plate. The only thing to do is to adapt DNA quantity to reagent volume according to the table on page 7 in the instruction manual.

Can I perform other tests after the transfection?
Magnetofection should not influence the experimental tests following the transfection such as flow cytometry, Elisa assays, luminescence and colorimetric assays.

Can we wash out the magnetic particles from the cell surface using PBS?
We do not know if the magnetic nanoparticles left outside the cells could be removed during a PBS washing procedure.

How many transfections are made with 100µL of reagent?
It depends on the quantity of DNA used per transfection. If you use 1µg of DNA per transfection, you get 100 assays with 100 µL of reagent.

Should Magnetofection be processed in serum free medium?
It is one of the great benefits of the method that the presence of serum does not interfere with Magnetofection .
